  W.A.L.T Play ti uru.

today we played ti uru and we have to try to get them and we had to try to get the Our palm and we had to try to get it to the cone Before the other teams got the ball then we got a score.

The object of the game was  1 ball and three cones.

we had two catch the ball with our palm and one person had to stand on a cone and try to catch the ball for a score.

I enjoyed playing ti uru and learning to catch the ball with our palm.

Niue language week

 WALT: Understand the Niue language.

What is the Niue language about? Niuean (/njuˈeɪən/; ko e vagahau Niuē) is a Polynesian language, belonging to the Malayo-Polynesian subgroup of the Austronesian languages. It is most closely related to Tongan and slightly more distantly to other Polynesian languages such as Māori, Samoan, and Hawaiian

Why Niue language week important. Niue Language Week helps all New Zealander's journey towards shared cultural understandings. Learning a new language gives us insight into new ways of thinking, and to different beliefs and cultural practices.

Give 3 Niue words. Kia folks mai.

Next time I need to practice saying the words.

Shake out

WALT: Drop, cover, and hold.

This morning the task we had to do was an earthquake practice, for 1 minute you drop, cover, and hold under your desk.

I enjoyed doing an earthquake practice.

I learned that in an earthquake you have to drop under the desk support your head and neck and hold on to the desk leg.

Next time I will get under my desk faster or go to the corner or under the doorway.
